My sister, Nadine, made Jason a giant squid cake for his birthday last week. We were all rather impressed. Jason couldn't wait to eat it. Apparently neither could his roommates because the tray came back empty 2 days later...

She was worried he wouldn't like it. It's a giant squid made of CAKE.

I haven't seen Brianna in ages, so we got together to catch up and take a few pictures of her and her softball gear, including her out-of-the-park home run ball from provincials this past weekend. What a beauty.

My friend Mary is looking after this extremely energetic poodle/beagle cross for the weekend. His name is Lucky. He quite literally took us for a walk all over his neighbourhood.

Yes, he would be a poogle. I chuckled.

Some of my truly splendid friends came out to Mill Lake to help me pass the take-home final for my photography class. I took a squillion photos of them - they are seriously so easy to shoot.
